This English version is provided for convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. Scope
These terms apply to the website 4k60.com and the game servers that Cryon UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Landsberger Str. 35, 04157 Leipzig, Germany ("we") runs under the 4K60.com brand. By visiting the website or joining a server you accept them. The terms of the respective games and platforms (for example Steam, Microsoft/Mojang) apply as well.
2. What we offer
The website and the game servers are free. We aim for stable operation but do not owe any particular availability. We may change servers, game modes, maps, plugins and rules, and pause or close servers. Game worlds are reset on the schedule published on the website (wipes). Where we run a world without wipes, that is our aim, not a guarantee: we cannot fully rule out data loss from technical faults.
3. Community rules
On every server and in our channels:
- No cheats, scripts, macros, exploits or other unfair tools; report bugs you find to us.
- No racism, hate speech, harassment, threats or discrimination.
- No illegal, pornographic or violence-glorifying content, including in names, sprays, builds and chat.
- No advertising for other servers or offers, and no spam.
- No impersonating admins or other players, no sharing other people's personal data.
- The rules listed on each server's page apply in addition.
The age rating of each game and the platforms' minimum ages apply here too. If you are a minor, you need your parents' consent.
4. Moderation and bans
Admins may warn, mute, kick and ban for a period or permanently, depending on how serious and repeated a violation is. Serious violations (cheats, hate speech, threats) can lead to an immediate permanent ban. If you think a ban is wrong, contact us on Discord or at hello@4k60.com; we review every appeal. There is no right to access a particular server.
5. Your content
You are responsible for what you write or build in game. You allow us to show content you create on our servers (for example builds, player names in leaderboards) in connection with the server, such as on maps, in screenshots, on the website and in our channels. We remove illegal content.
6. Purchases
You cannot buy anything from us at the moment. If we open a store, purchases will run through Tebex Limited (London, United Kingdom) as the seller (merchant of record), and Tebex's terms will apply to purchase, payment and withdrawal; we will update this section first.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential duties that make use possible in the first place and that you may rely on, and only for foreseeable, typical damage. Liability is otherwise excluded. This also covers the loss of saved progress, items or advancement in free game worlds.
8. Trademarks
4K60.com is a community project and is not affiliated with any game publisher. All game names and trademarks belong to their owners, for example Facepunch (Rust, Garry's Mod), Mojang/Microsoft (Minecraft), Valve (Counter-Strike, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2) and Smartly Dressed Games (Unturned).
9. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction
We may change these terms, for example when new servers or features are added. The version published here applies. German law applies; if you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU country, you keep the mandatory protection of that country's law. The place of jurisdiction for merchants is Leipzig. If any provision is invalid, the others remain in force.
