- This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and shows no ads.
- No third-party content is loaded: fonts, images and scripts come from our own server.
- When you play on our game servers, they process the data the game needs (details below).

We have not appointed a data protection officer because we are not required to. Send privacy questions to the email address above.
2. Hosting and server log files
The website runs on a cloud server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in its Helsinki data centre in Finland (EU). We have a data processing agreement with Hetzner under Art. 28 GDPR.
When you open a page, the web server processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the requested address, the HTTP status code, the amount of data sent, the previous page (referrer) and your browser's identifier. We need this data to deliver the page, find errors and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and stable operation. In the access logs we store the IP address only in shortened form (IPv4 without the last byte, IPv6 cut to the first 48 bits), so it can no longer be linked to you. The logs are deleted automatically after 14 days. The connection is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
3. Cookies and browser storage
We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser's local storage, so no consent is needed.
4. Fonts and live status
The fonts (Big Shoulders, Barlow, JetBrains Mono) are stored on our server and loaded from there. No connection to Google or any other font provider is made.
Your browser loads the live displays (online, player count, map) from our own web server every 30 seconds. That server asks our status service on the game server for them. Only numbers are transferred, no player names and no data about you.
5. Contact by email
When you write to us, we process your email address, your name (if given) and the content of your message to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in answering requests). Our mailbox is run by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, as our processor. We delete messages once the request is settled, unless statutory retention periods require longer storage.
6. Our game servers
The game servers run on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH in the Falkenstein data centre, Germany. When you join a server, it processes:
- your IP address and the times of your connections,
- your player ID on the platform (for example SteamID, Minecraft UUID, or the Xbox identifier for Bedrock players via Geyser/Floodgate) and your player name,
- chat messages and commands you enter on the server,
- game actions where they are logged for running the game and against griefing (for example block changes on the Minecraft server, so damage can be undone),
- saved progress and statistics such as inventory, kills, experience points, ranks, achievements and playtime,
- warnings and bans with reason and duration.
The purpose is to provide the game, save your progress, keep rounds fair and act on rule breaks and cheating. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (you use the server you join) and, for security and moderation, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
As usual in these games, other players can see your player name, score and playtime in the player list and in the game's server query, your chat messages on the server, and leaderboards. The player with the most points in a week is named on the server and may be announced on our Discord.
We delete server logs with IP addresses and chat after 30 days at the latest, unless they are needed for a specific rule break. Saved progress and statistics are kept as long as the server runs or until you ask us to delete them. Wipes reset game worlds on the published schedule. Bans are kept for their duration.
Sign-in and cheat protection are partly handled by the platforms themselves (for example Steam and Valve Anti-Cheat, Microsoft for Minecraft accounts, Easy Anti-Cheat for Rust), under their own privacy policies.
7. Links to Discord, Steam, YouTube and TikTok
We link to our channels on Discord, Steam, YouTube and TikTok. These are plain links: only when you click one does the provider's page open, and the provider then processes your data under its own terms, partly in the USA. We do not embed content from these services on our pages.
8. Your rights
You have the right to
- access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21),
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)), should we ever ask for it.
Write to hello@4k60.com. For game server data, please give us your player name and player ID so we can find your data.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte (Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner), Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany, datenschutz.sachsen.de.
9. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions
You are not obliged to give us any data. Without the technical data named above, however, we cannot deliver the website and you cannot play on the game servers. There is no automated individual decision-making including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR). Automatic anti-cheat and spam filters on the servers may block players temporarily; a person reviews every permanent ban.
10. Changes
When our services change, we update this policy. The version published here applies.
